It’s a very detailed work taking place in Egypt.  Rightly acknowledged as a classic it combines all the best elements of Lovecraft, Religion, Gods, Visions and other worldly experience. Never having visited Egypt Lovecraft certainly invents one we recognise though seen through his eyes one we are glad only takes place on the page.
